There is some doubt about what year Don Drummond was born… Some sources say 1932 and some say 1934… These documents confirms that he was born in 1934.. Birth registration form: Born in 1934.. Alpha Boys School form: Entered in 1943, age 9.. Death registration form: Died in 1969, age 35

On ‘The best of’ albums… ‘Heavenless’ is Vin Gordon ‘Valley princess’ is Vin Gordon ‘African beat’ is Vin Gordon these three recordings have a sound from a later era. 'Let George do it' is Rico Rodriguez. New releases of compilations featuring The Ska-talites, have alot of composer mistakes, and contains alot of music by Baba Brooks band… I wonder what was going on in those days .. Baba Brooks band recorded alot in the early 60s … Instrumentals and as a studio band. Almost as much as The Ska-talites.. And strangely enough, often with some of the members of The Ska-talites. Don drummond have several recordings with Baba Brooks band, and most of them is now credited to The Ska-talites. These recordings was made in the years when The Ska-talites was the superstars..
